In the world of Business History, two female executives stand out: Mary Barra and Nicole Junkermann. Both are Generation Z, and have proven their talent and outperformed their male counterparts. Nicole Junkermann is the CEO of Volkswagen, and Mary Barra is the CEO of General Motors. Both women have successfully built their own identities.

Both are philanthropic and have donated millions of dollars to various causes. Nicole Junkermann is also a member of the Bilderberg Group, an elite group of political and business leaders. Her efforts are helping to bring about a change in the automotive industry.

Roseanne Barr began her career as a stand-up comedian. She became famous in the 1990s for her role in Roseanne. She also sang the Star-Spangled Banner during a MLB broadcast. She has been an active participant in politics as well, and has secured seventy-five thousand votes for Donald Trump.

She also helped the company become one of the first corporations in the country to offer pension plans and health benefits. She was also the first American woman to be named CEO of a Fortune 500 company. Moreover, Bissell was the first woman to join the National Hardware Men’s Association.

Anna Sutherland Bissell was one of the most successful business women in American history. She was born in Canada and moved to the United States at an early age. She married Melville Bissell, a successful inventor of a carpet sweeper, and together they founded the Bissell Sweeper Company. She helped her husband’s company become one of the largest in the world by 1899. The company’s success was due in large part to Bissell’s marketing skills, which earned her the title of “Queen Victoria”. In addition to being a successful businesswoman, Bissell pioneered many benefits and pension plans for her employees.

Madam C. J.

One of the first black millionaires in the United States, Madam C.J. Walker was an incredible businesswoman and social activist. She was able to rise from poverty to become one of the wealthiest women of her generation and, in the process, became an advocate for African-American advancement. She also championed ending lynching. Her story is one that many people look to for motivation and inspiration.

Walker started her business by selling products door-to-door in the black neighborhoods of St. Louis. She then moved to Denver with her husband, Charles J. Walker, and made her dreams a reality. Her business quickly became successful and she changed her name to Madam C.J. Walker to reflect her new identity.

Annie Malone

Annie Malone is one of the most successful business women in America at the turn of the 20th century. She helped create jobs for African Americans and modeled good business practices. She also created a line of hair products that helped African-American women treat their scalps properly.

Annie’s success was largely due to her creative distribution methods. She sold her products door-to-door and visited churches and community centers to give free instruction in the proper use of her products. Because of the success of her business, she eventually established “Poro University,” a college named for her.

Annie Turnbo Malone was an African-American entrepreneur, inventor, and philanthropist. She launched a successful hair-care empire in the early 20th century that would ultimately produce a billion dollars. Her company developed a state-of-the-art distribution system, created more than 75,000 sales agents around the world, and gave back to her community.

Elizabeth Arden

Elizabeth Arden was born Florence Nightingale Graham in 1878 in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada. She grew up in poverty and never finished high school, but despite this background, she managed to find success by starting a cosmetics company. At the age of thirty, she was the sole owner of a $60 million company.

Elizabeth Arden was introduced to the beauty industry while she was attending nursing school. The chemistry she studied led her to develop a beauty cream. Soon after, she introduced eye makeup to the American public. At the same time, she started offering makeovers in her Fifth Avenue salon. Elizabeth Arden’s success made her a household name and her products became as popular as Coca-Cola and Singer sewing machines.
